Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was founded January 13, 1913, on the campus of Howard University by 22 women inspired to action and committed to public service. Guided by Christian principles, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is an organization of college educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community. Over 111 years later, we remain resolute following in the footsteps of our Founders and in the forefront of action as a voice for those in need.
The Inland Valley Alumnae Chapter was chartered on May 17, 2020, becoming the 1,051st chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated by 50 tenacious women with a shared vision to lead and serve our communities. Our vision consists of being Inclusive, Impactful, and Inspiring. Our goal is to strengthen community engagement, engage in advocacy and awareness, and expand our membership.
We are ready to carry forward the mission of our sorority throughout the communities we serve:
Beaumont, Chino, Chino Hills, Corona, Eastvale, Fontana, Hesperia, Highland, Jurupa Valley, Moreno Valley, Norco, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, and Rialto.
